LIBRARY POLICIES, GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES

The document is made up of two parts. Part A contains the library Policies, Guidelines and Procedures while Part B contains forms, templates, manuals and library position papers relating to the Guidelines and Procedures in Part A.

Each Guideline and Procedure (GP) has a sponsor. The sponsor may be a librarian with specified responsibilities or a member of Library Management. It is the responsibility of the sponsor to table changes to existing GPs or introduce new GPs at the correct forum for discussion.

All guidelines and procedures (GPs) should be reviewed annually. Any changes must be signed off by the Library Director and submitted to Library QA by end November each year in order to keep the document current. If no changes are made, the sponsor still needs to sign off the review document.
