What your librarian can do for you :

·         Provide you with information of how the Library can assist your academic needs.

·         Interrogate your topic with you so you can look at it from different angles –this in known to librarians as a reference interview.

·         Advise you which databases to use to find information sources.

·         Train you to use information sources.

·         Direct you to useful guides, e.g. CPUT Harvard Referencing Guide.

The ultimate aim of the librarian is to make you self-sufficient with the products and services that the Library provides.
