Renew your library loans

Can I renew/extend my library loans?

Yes you may, items can be renewed twice (provided the item is not put on hold by another patron). You can renew your items in the following ways:

  • Through your library account/My Library Card. Click on the LOANS tab and click on the individual item(s) you want to renew or select RENEW ALL,  it will give a new due date
  • Coming in personally to the library or phoning the circulation desk of your library. You will find the number on the date sheet pasted inside your book.

What happens when someone wants material that's checked out to me?

A hold will be placed on the item. At the end of the loan period, you must return the item. You will not be able to renew it

Can I renew/extend my ILL items?

  • If you have items on loan through the ILL service, to request a renewal contact the ILL Department
