Free entrance and use of the special collections in CPUT Libraries for research purposes to students, staff, researchers and members of the public
Special Collection Services hours: Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 16:00
Researchers are allowed to download, email, scan or photocopy sections of information within the copyright legislation provided there is no risks of damaging an item.
The use of digital cameras, laptops and data storage devices are allowed. Researchers are not allowed to use sticky notes or any type of adhesive flag when marking pages in a special collections book or item.
Support offered: Staff assist users to identify and locate material of interest and answer questions about holdings.
Visits to the Wellington Library by public and community members, to use Local History and Genealogy (LHG) collections are permitted by prior appointments.
